As highlighted by the France Bleu Berry article last December, 2024 was a pivotal year for the future European Capital of Culture. Over the course of a year, our organization grew from a team of five to a solid structure now comprising around twenty dedicated and determined individuals. Moreover, the Bourges 2028 team will continue to expand in 2025!
Inauguration of our premises, presentation of the CRI!, the Bourges 2028 call for projects, and the launch of our endowment fund TEA… 2024 was already packed, and 2025 promises to be a year full of exciting encounters and projects for the team!
Among the highlights are the major events of the Matrix cities, such as the Angoulême Comic Book Festival, which is just around the corner, our regular monthly one-on-one, and numerous artistic offerings during the Printemps de Bourges music festival and the European Summer Festival of Bourges.
Let’s not forget the official launch of our CR! call for projects in March!
As a bonus, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the developments of projects from Chemnitz (Germany) and Nova Gorica (Slovenia/Italy), the European Capitals of Culture for 2025.
To make 2025 a year of commitment, celebration, and creations!
