Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel x Bourges 2028: a winning alliance from 2026! 🎵

This morning, the launch press conference for Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel took place at the Maison de la Culture in Bourges — an opportunity for Bourges 2028 to reaffirm its commitment alongside one of the most iconic festivals on the French music scene. A pioneering event, widely recognised by our European partners, which continues to surprise and reveal new talent year after year.

Through the voice of Frédéric Hocquard, General Delegate, we highlighted our shared passion for music and a common vision of creation: an inclusive culture, driven by the energy of artists and citizens, and firmly oriented towards Europe. 💫

Following the success of the European Bal barré and the striking reinterpretation of the Köln Variations by pianist and virtuoso Édouard Ferlet (with a little help from artificial intelligence!) during the 2025 edition, we are now working hand in hand on new co-productions for this major spring event:

👉 Printemps Mon Amour!: a festive and collective closing creation — a queer cabaret celebrating 50 years of contemporary music;
👉 Pionnières: a European project bringing together artists from several contemporary scenes (Germany, Lithuania, Italy, the United Kingdom, and soon Sweden);
👉 Traditional Music Cabaret: a project exploring traditional music as a vibrant space for creation and transmission.
