Bourges 2028 volunteers engaging with the public at the Handicafé
Sophie and Valérie proudly represented Bourges 2028 at the Handicafé, a key moment for exchanges between people with disabilities and employment stakeholders. Alongside Éric Meseguer from Eures Cap Emploi, they presented the volunteer programme and answered participants’ many questions throughout the morning.
Organised as part of the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, the Handicafé provides an open and welcoming space to exchange, learn about one’s rights, explore professional opportunities and meet committed partners. In this context, the presence of Bourges 2028 volunteers takes on its full meaning: true ambassadors on the ground, they embody the spirit of the project, build connections, offer guidance, share information and inspire others to join the adventure.
Through their attentiveness and energy, Sophie and Valérie helped showcase a form of volunteering that is open, accessible and welcoming – an essential mission in continuing to expand and energise the Bourges 2028 volunteer network.
A huge thank you to our volunteers!
