The Bourges 2028 team in the field

To continue the work already initiated throughout 2025 — culminating on December 3 with the launch of the International Laboratory for an Inclusive and Accessible Culture — with the aim of shaping 2028 from today, and ensuring it is accessible to all.

Yesterday, we took this approach into the field: alongside associations from the co-design committee and people with disabilities, we explored the future Culture and Mental Health third place at George Sand Hospital and walked through the Cultural Mile route. Every step, every perspective matters when imagining a smooth and inclusive cultural experience at the scale of the city. 💫

🤝 These moments are essential: they allow us to anticipate adaptations, identify points of attention, and refine the route, so that the title year is truly open to everyone — from the very first steps in the city.
