Volunteer Platform Unveiled

More than 110 volunteers gathered yesterday evening for a friendly event organised by Bourges 2028. A chance to meet, share experiences and connect, the evening also provided an opportunity to unveil the new platform dedicated to volunteers.

Presented by Faustine Damman, Citizen Participation and Engagement Manager at Bourges 2028, the new platform has been designed to make the volunteer experience easier. It will bring together volunteer opportunities, registrations, practical information, as well as the various meetings and social events organised throughout the adventure.

Beyond the presentation itself, the evening gave volunteers the opportunity to share their experiences, look back on memories from past events and discover the next highlights of Bourges 2028.

At Bourges 2028, volunteers play an essential role. Welcoming audiences, supporting teams, helping behind the scenes at events or providing logistical assistance: their commitment is a key part of bringing this collective cultural project to life, transforming the territory and strengthening social connections.

Join the adventure!

Registration on the volunteer platform is now open. Signing up does not commit you to taking part in any particular activity, but allows you to receive information about upcoming projects, volunteer opportunities, meetings and social events organised by Bourges 2028.

And now is the perfect time to join us! From September onwards, volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in an exceptional artistic project alongside internationally renowned artist Olivier Grossetête: the collective construction of a monumental cardboard replica of the tower of Bourges Cathedral. A unique collective adventure that will call on everyone’s energy and creativity.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Bourges 2028 adventure!
