In 2026, Bourges 2028 will give culture a central place in our lives and in our cities.
In 2025, the project gained real momentum: the launch of LICIA, the CR! and its Academy, with winning projects set to unfold across the region; the strengthening of European partnerships with Liepāja, Oulu, and Nova Gorica; and, of course, the incredible commitment of 250 volunteers working alongside us.
It was also a year that confirmed the support of economic partners, both locally and across France.
In 2026, we step up a gear.
Coproductions and Bourges 2028 events at the Printemps de Bourges, the presentation of artistic projects this summer, the first European Matrix meeting in September… and more Bourges 2028 networks currently in the making (work in progress…).
And many more opportunities to debate, be moved, and celebrate together.
