Le Printemps de Bourges kicks off the musical season every year—and for this 49th edition, Bourges 2028 is once again right on beat. From April 15 to 20, the city transforms into a true cultural laboratory where music, experimentation, and European encounters come together. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve got in store:

 The European Bal Barré: An Open-Air Dance Floor!
 Every evening, the RIFFX Party Stage on Place Séraucourt becomes a dance floor under the stars! The Bal Barré Européen invites you to celebrate and travel through sound, with traditional French and European music—remixed with a wild twist.

 What if Artificial Intelligence Could Converse with Keith Jarrett?
With Köln Variations, Bourges 2028 and Le Printemps de Bourges revisit the story of this legendary concert. Enter the IRCAM and pianist Édouard Ferlet, who take on the bold challenge of making a piano and AI interact in real time—live on stage. Let yourself be transported to Cologne for this 76-minute hypnotic performance that blurs the boundaries of musical creation.
