Ranked 1st creation and contemporary music festival in France, the Printemps de Bourges hosts every year a highly anticipated event for professionals and the media: the Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel, the most important national and European device for the identification, selection and accompaniment of young artists, managed by the association Réseau Printemps. The Printemps de Bourges marries a wide range of musical aesthetics and is based on a balance between established artists, emerging talents and original creations, then between the French, European and international scene.
Strong attendance, the event brings together 200 000 people every year, and the entire city of Bourges is in turmoil : bars, restaurants, places of culture… the local actors to contribute greatly to a boil, in conjunction with the action of the Spring in the City which offers the public concerts, exhibitions, lectures and screenings in free access. For Six days, nearly five hundred shows are organized in the heart of the city.
